Anxiety is a word we’re now much more familiar with as a community – with the pandemic, political tensions, the war in the Ukraine and growing eco-anxiety about the planet – many of us are understandably concerned. These are obvious anxiety triggers but what about some of the “sleeper” anxiety triggers around us - things we don’t even know could be causing us anxiety? What are they and more importantly what can we do to manage them … from a quantum physics and spiritual perspective?
In this episode I share the lessons and gifts I received when my anxiety was unexpectedly triggered by the accident I had in January. I also share five strategies any of us can use to deal with anxiety when it is triggered.

So what happens when your world stops? What do you do when suddenly everything you thought you would do today, tomorrow, next week or next month is absolutely not possible? What would you do and how would you handle that?
This has been on my mind with the many innocent people caught up in the Ukraine war and it came closer to home for me in when I had a pretty bad accident at home recently. My world definitely stopped and I was unable to do anything for myself. I couldn’t even get a glass of water on my own! Imagine that!
I strongly believe there are no such things as accidents and in today’s episode I share with you some of the things I took from this very unplanned life detour!

I know for me for a long time it was my inner critic …. but things changed for me a few years ago when I realised how I was cutting the ground out from underneath me with the negative stories “my nasty girl” was telling me and the words I was using about myself.
After ALOT of difficult and painful moments – mostly self-inflicted – I realised the vital importance of self-love and inner compassion. I also realised the voice we choose to listen to in our heads is a choice we make every second, and every minute of every day of our life. So the big question is what do we choose? This is such a big topic that I'm super passionate about so thank you for being here with me.
Before we go on let me just about the fact that I really do believe owning your personal power is absolutely critical to your personal happiness and fulfilment in your life. Why? To me the purpose of life is about remembering who we truly are, expanding into this full potential, to help others and to have fun!
The best way we can do this is feel comfortable with ourselves and own our personal power. When we feel this way we have the confidence and the internal assuredness to be able to step forward and do the things we might want to do in our lives.
